Social Media Content Coordinator

Location: Remote
Status: Part Time

Socialistics, a social media agency is actively seeking a part time social media content coordinator to help with the management of some of our client’s social media efforts. The ideal candidate will have experience creating effective social media content, particularly strategy and copywriting. We are a fast growing agency, and we’re looking for someone that is passionate about social media, eager to learn, grow and potentially be an integral part of the growth of our company. Ideally you are someone not needing a full-time opportunity with some time to dedicate to this opportunity every week.


  • Copywriting for social media posts
  • Oversee and manage social media image requests for design team
  • Be available and accessible regularly to team for client strategy/update calls 
  • Manage editorial calendars for assigned clients
  • Create and curate the necessary amount of relevant content for clients on a month to month basis
  • Oversee scheduling &  publishing strategy for all social content
  • Manage engagements that take place on social channels including responding to questions, comments and escalating as needed
  • Help contribute and/or develop content strategy for agency clients

Required Skills

  • Strong experience with social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn
  • Experience with social media tools such as Sprout Social a major plus
  • Strong copywriting skills; writing for the web, predominantly social media focused
  • Must have strong verbal & written communications skills, as well as an ability to present ideas logically & clearly 
  • Must possess strong knowledge of—and a true passion for—the social media marketing space
  • Self-starter with strong self-management skills
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
  • Experience with project management tools such as Canva, Slack, Trello
  • Ability to direct and manage social media graphic design requests with design team


  • This is a part time, month to month position. 10-20 hours a week to start with the potential to grow into more
  • Independent contractor position (1099)
  • Pay is commensurate with experience on an hourly basis
  • This is a remote opportunity. You can work from anywhere
  • You will need your own computer/devices
  • Socialistics will provide any software, services or resources necessary to do the job
